Jan Hofmeyer Community Services (“JHCS”) is situated in Vrededorp Johannesburg.

It is a non-racial charity organisation registered with the Department of Social Development as an independent non-profit organization on the 1 August 2000 [009/757/NPO], to uplift the marginalized communities of Jan Hofmeyer, Vredepark and Vrededorp.

Since 20 June 2008 JHCS is also registered as a section 21 Company. The organisation is registered with SARS in terms of section 18a of the income tax act. Donations to JHCS may in part be recovered from income tax in terms of section 18a.
